Are you familiar with the Sanlele?

The Sanlele is a hybrid instrument, a combination of the Okinawan sanshin and the Hawaiian ukulele.

It has a ukulele body and a sanshin neck. It features the same three strings as the sanshin, but with frets tuned to the Ryukyu scale!

Like the Okinawan sanshin, you can play individual notes! It’s a new instrument that lets you enjoy playing chords like a ukulele!

Recently, the Sanlele has been gradually gaining popularity, and we’re seeing more and more performance videos on social media.
